I’ve read a lot of the comments people are making re the Oscar Pistorius race, and how there is some controversy that the winner’s blades were too long. Can I just ask - what about Usain Bolt in the Olympics? Dude is huge and his legs are long too, so his strides are bigger and therefore he is able to easily win his races. I didn’t see people complaining that he had an advantage because his legs were too long…
The IPC have made their statement confirming that there was nothing wrong with any athletes blades and everyone was within the confines of the rules, and Pistorius has withdrawn his comments. Overall, I think it was a stunning race to watch and congratulations should go to everyone who competed.
Still love you Tink Tink!
